Duka started as a pilot — a handful of small farms in Bensa, all processed at our Gatta site, with one question: what's the best these farms can give if we pay attention to every decision?
So we did. Each farm harvested, processed and stored separately — fully traceable, farm to export. The feedback has been overwhelming, so we're sharing it with our friends across the industry.
In Amharic, the word ዱካ — duka means footprint, track, or trace. That's what every lot is: a record of a farm, a year, and the hands that did the work. Duka is also short for Dukamo — our family, our heritage, our commitment to quality.
What began as a handful keeps growing — and every lot stays fully traceable, farm to export.
The farms
Each farm is harvested, processed and stored on its own — nine yielding coffee today, seven still coming into their own, every lot traced from cherry to export.

The coffee
Duka lots are our most exacting — single-farm, competition-grade microlots across natural, honey, washed and anaerobic processes. They sit at the top of our range as the estate selection.
